Thoughts on Comixology
Just found this site, wondered what people thought. You can submit Indie comics, but I don't have any details.

Re: Thoughts on Comixology
It seems like a pretty good hub for distributing digital comics! It's got a huge userbase (partially fueled by having some major publishers on board) and I know a bunch of people who have had luck selling comics there.
I started to look into making an account but the first screen (before even entering any information about the comics you plan on selling) requires some American tax forms that would be a hassle for me to get ahold of*, so I didn't follow through, haha. But it's worth checking out if you want to sell digital comics, probably the biggest hub site around for that format/product.
*Mostly due to me not being American, so it'll probably be less of a hassle for some lol

I've been submitting issues to it slowly for the last eight months or so, and so far I've sold a few, so I think it's going fairly well. The submission process, tax forms aside, is fairly easy (especially after the first one has already been accepted), and it does seem like the userbase actually is able to stumble on new things themselves, which is nice.
I don't really have anything to compare it to, though. There could be something better out there that does basically the same thing.

I put the first chapter of Fine Sometimes Rain up there and I will probably put the first volume of the GN on there as well. I use it in addition to selling PDFs on Gumroad. When I first put the book up, I got a short burst of sales, around $25ish worth and now I just see a trickle in here and there. Since it doesn't require any extra effort on my part I feel it's worth it. It also helped some new readers find me and I also hear that editors and art directors will sometimes see your work.
We'll see how the GN goes once I get it posted there.

Yeah I put in the name GenkiGirl Comics which is what I have been using. I don't think you are married to it so if you want to change it later it's fine. Also I think they want you to use something else besides your own name since you will be listed as the author/artist.
