Hello!
I have been drawing a webcomic for a while now called Keep on the Borderlands. The idea I had was to run some characters through a D&D module and tell the story from the character's perspective. I even went so far as to roll out the results of each battle and saving throw and depict the results, sometime with very unpredictable results. I post about once a week and I seem to have a little bit of a following, judging by my attached Patron page and web traffic statistics. I'm always trying to improve my work and get a better comic out there. The dream is to be able to draw comics for a living. So to that end, I saw that this community really seems to care about the craft of webcomics, so I thought I would post and join in the conversation here. I'm in the process of migrating my comic off of free hosting sites and have my own hosting and figured the more expert options I get the better. Anyway, if you are at all interested, here is a link to my comic: http://thekeepontheborderlands.thecomicseries.com/Let me know what you think.

Re: Hello!
Heyyy, welcome to SpiderForest! I think that's a really interesting and cool way of crafting a story! There's a lot of D&D inspired comics out there, but I haven't seen any that actually decide the plot that way. Anyways, nearly 300 pages of comics is really impressive. Glad to have you here

Hello and welcome! Your comic has a very neat idea behind it! It's always nice to see people experiment on methods to storymaking.
We coded our comic site from the ground up, so I don't have any personal experience about CMSs for webcomics, but there are a lot of people here who have. Also, feel free to dig into the Resources and Tutorials board or even make a new topic about recommendations!

Re: Hello!
Sometimes it takes me a while to figure out what happens next when I have an idea of where the comic is going to go, then the character that was going to lead the direction either dies or fails a critical saving throw. I have so much more written then drawn so there's a huge buffer of story for me to get through. I just hope that the story is engaging and not meandering.
