Hello!

I'm the creator of Black Shallows, an adventure/drama comic set in a world that is quite literally falling apart. I actually got super inspired after I took this earth science course one semester where we learned about the Flosagjá rift. I thought that the idea of people trying to live on a continent with crazy hyperactive plate movements might be interesting. But, if you glance at my comic, you'll see that any trace of science has been unfortunately shoved out the window.

Anyways, I'm a total introvert, but from browsing the forums today, everyone seems super awesome and supportive, and it really seems like the kind of community I'm looking for, sooo...

(Incidentally I really love how traveling is depicted in your comic, you did an amazing job of showing a pretty wild fantastical system in a way that's both clear and visceral! Nice work and I can't wait to see more of it :U)

Oh nooo I completely forgot that I made this thread!! So here's a super late thanks for all the kind words about the comic! I always worry that the worldbuilding doesn't translate well into the actual story and it's nice to see that it at least makes a bit of sense to some people )))
