I heard about this a little while back....and I forgot to mention it.
I am currently trying to figure out a way to make a field trip to Kansas for the purpose of checking this out

there are similar underground cities on the west coast, but they are well known. Their pourpose was mainly for the capture and selling of people for use on merchant ships and work farms. I am curious if the one in Kansas was for a similar thing. Maybe for the building of the rail system.

I remember hearing about a few undergrounds like this out in South Carolina and Virginia (that had a confederate origin, mainly holdouts after the war)
Still, with this deal in Kansas, I can't believe there isn't some kind of record of this somewhere.
