I'm glad you like it so far...
One of the things I wanted to do with the book was give you a different slant on things, not to mention add some areas and things that I wish I had thought to put in the first time.

I definitely like the changes. It never hurts to remember that a web comic and a book are in fact two different things. Similar, certainly. The only author(s) I know of that are able to successfully pull off the trick of web and book being identical are the Foglio's (Girl Genius).
They are producing a print product and putting it on the web before it's actually printed and published. As a result, they have no margin for error in their story and no way of expanding or changing their books to better explain their story.
I look forward the the web comic every day. Like I said, though, I definitely like the book.
