 cryogenic people
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that all of the cryogenic people we've seen up to Club Black are "incomplete" - the dead one at the apartment and the 500 or so (plus the guards) at the estate. Club Black evidently has some physically complete clones - I would think you'd need either one or the other. Not both.
Also, who are they clones of? Does it matter? Do they have any special powers or talents? Are they cheap labor for Club Black?
Ideas?

Maybe the incomplete ones are just being used like shells by some of the survivors. They would be disposable so they don't bother to bring them to full functionality, just enough to pass in society.
The complete ones could be for downloading someone into permanently. They would then be able to move about without having to be manipulated like a puppet and breed, etc...
I wonder just what they mean by 'incomplete' though. It could be anything from stunted growth of the brain right through to no real internal organs developed at all.

The "incomplete" clones were used by Shoreham at least once for his meetings in the city. They were also the guards at his estate. I wonder if the ones in Club Black are his and he is/was the true owner of the establishment? I wonder who the donor was? Nothing's been said about them having a resemblance to him.
There is also a finite limit to how many cryogenic chambers can exist. It's not just cost, it's also resources - the expertise to manufacture and assemble them. I suspect that few if any of the other immortals have such installations - there doesn't appear to be any others trying to build a small army.
Much to ponder.

*a slight spoiler* the upcoming comic for Thursday mentions looking for more in the area based off of electrical consumption.

Wish I'd thought of that.
The rural immortals seems to have access to power supplies - given their secretivness, ones that aren't monitored. On that basis, it is possible that there are more cryogenic farms in the rural areas. However, we come back to the one issue we need to answer - what are the clones for (other than guards, substitute bodies for meetings, etc.)? Why so many? Not enough to be an army, too many to be anything else.
