In case it's not too clear...Lucy's been wearing makeup over her glowy...tattoo-y...things (I have GOT to come up with an official name for 'em). Nameless Guy just spilt coffee, thus, no more makeup.

(Yes i forgot to draw them for a few pages)

Heh.

There are worse things I could do, than go with a boy or two
Even though the neighborhood thinks I'm trashy and no good
I suppose it could be true, but there are worse things I could do

I could flirt with all the guys, smile at them and bat my eyes
Press against them when we dance, make them think they stand a chance
Then refuse to see it through, that's a thing I'd never do

I could stay home every night, wait around for Mr. Right
Take cold showers every day, and throw my life away
On a dream that won't come true

And you always claimed to be so innocent. I'm not surprised, though. It's the pure-and-innocent types who end up in those Girls Gone Wild videos.

Just so long as the inner child doesn't kick the back of the seat in front of her during the flight, it's all good.

"Look at all these people listed. They seem a bit young for a Social Security database..."

I'd buy a dead tree copy of Blue Skunk. I bet the cover would be great. Depending on what you came up for as prints and posters, I might buy some of those as well. I can always use more shiny Gaither niftiness around the apartment.

Purple and green, the official colours of the United Brotherhood of Supervillains (Local #404).

Good job on the perspective. Hope you can work it in to more comics in the future.

Everyone blames that poor butterfly. Why don't they blame the frat boy with gas?

Probably because the image of inhaling other people's farts isn't as attractive as a pretty lil butterfly.

Commentary!

The page composition and panel layout have improved recently. The fight between Mir and Green Scaly Hands Guy flowed smoothly, with no hard to read jumps between the panels.

Even with the talky scenes between Lucy and Sarah, more plot stuff is starting to happen. The pace is picking up a bit.

You seem to have pulled back on the lighting techniques a bit. There are a lot fewer glowing/shiny surfaces.

More later, as it occurs to me...

I like the new art. The hand-drawn stuff is nice, and it looks like you're getting some nice lines out of the quill-pen. I also really like the new piece at DeviantTart. The detail is amazing.

And hey, today's Something Positive is about Texas. Scroll down to the second strip.

SP is funny. And that's a typical Texas fall alright, except that my Dad always ran the AC down very, very low. (it's 92 outside, and he has the AC cranked to 60. COLD!)

Thanks for the complement on the DA piece. I just...kinda needed to take a break from comicking for a little bit. Between work and comics my brains were spurting out my ears.

Now there's an image you need to put to paper!

And that wasn't the cartoon I was referring to. The cartoonist moved it, thus ruining my joke. Damn you, Milholland!

....Ok, now that's funny too.

60 is cold when it's 90 outside. Why? 1. it foggs up your glasses when you go outside. 2. It costs an awful, awful lot of money to keep a house at 60 when it's 90 outside.

The hand-drawn art is nice. I'm not sure if it's the pens you're using or the page being reduced for display, but I like the finer line-work. And the new stuff at your gallery is really nice - Even if the romantic view of history makes me want to throttle kittens. My only artistic nitpick is that the tops of their heads are too short. Human eyes are halfway up the head, not two-thirds. But I really like the colours and light, and the characters have a sense of movement.
