The past two days she's not been active and refused to eat.

I took her to the animal emergency room this morning and after extensive tests they've told me her kidneys are in the final stages of failure. They give her only a few months, and recommend I make her as comfortable as possible, and feed her whatever she wants since it doesn't matter at the moment.

She's not eating much, even though I gave her some Tuna, but she did eat some. She's drinking water like crazy, even though she jkust pees it out again in a few minutes, and her kidneys are just shutting down so she's just not getting the nutrients she needs.

I'm afraid I only have days, not months, left with her.

I'm really sorry to hear that. Having a pet die is always hard. The best thing to do at this point is make her as comfortable as possible, and take her into the vet and have her put down if it looks like she's in too much pain. That last part is really hard to do.

I'm going to have her put down in Saturday

Callie... died this morning in the vet office, she was put to sleep painlessly, even if her last week of life was full of pain and discomfort, at least it didn't last longer.
