Re: You guys got any side hobbies?
I agree- drawing, writing, storyboarding and researching comics is a pretty full time job... but you can turn a lot of activities into research if you're creative! I do long distance running and walking. If my characters ever decide to walk 100 miles, I'll know exactly what their feet feel like at the end. A lot of my other hobbies involve sitting still starting at a computer screen, so it's nice to get out into the fresh air and do some exercise. I've recently discovered obstacle races, which is a hell of a lot of fun (if a little midlife crisis-ish)crawling through mud and swinging from ropes and stuff. Crocheting or knitting is good when watching TV, if you have a difficulty doing one thing at a time. Those rabbits are lovely

Re: You guys got any side hobbies?
I have a few cliched hobbies XD I do play video games every now and then to relax. Around Christmas I start crocheting gifts, and like making little animals (they're called Amigorumis, I think?) I also like to cook...though I don't consider that a hobby (some people do.) Reading and writing my thoughts on what I've read is more of a hobby these days. I tend to keep my thoughts to myself now I'm out of college

Video games, woodworking, sculpting, language learning, and I have crazy-long hair, so I keep a hair blog (Yes, seriously) and try new hairstyles. I'm wanting to get into metalworking but for now I'll stick with wood carving and turning, hehe!

I've been playing an obscure (for America) French sport called Petanque (or Boule) for over 17 years now. It's sort of like Bocce where you toss/roll balls to a smaller target ball. I love it so much that I even formed a club in Detroit where we play for an hour each lunchtime. Beyond that, i also belong to a medieval renactment group (the Society for Creative Anachronism) - where we can dress up in full real armor and attack/defend against our friends in "real" battles. Totally a blast.
